After decades of hibernation Newport, RI once again proved to be an ideal venue for the Americas Cup. The core Aeroyacht team was privileged to see top multihull competitors sailing the most advanced craft at very close range. Tens of thousands of catamaran hungry spectators were treated to witnessing history in the making as the finest helmsmen battled it out against each other. Their machines were purpose built 45′ catamarans sporting gigantic solid wing masts and aggressive reverse bow technology (as the NEW Aeroyacht-ALPHA 42 dynamic cruising catamaran ) Match and fleetracing action was fierce as the AC45′s reached speeds of over 28 knots only hundreds of feet away from the crowds. So who won the Americas Cup Worlds ?
