Gregor Tarjan 25 year professional background include his active involvement in the 1986 "Stars and Stripes" America's Cup campaign, a USCG-50 Ton Masters License, a degree in Yacht Design and Art History, which all contribute in providing exceptional service to clients. He is a US Merchant Marine officer, has owned numerous large catamarans and has participated in the Olympic Star Class, N.A. Championships. Gregor is fluent in German and French and his passion and theoretical knowledge of cruising multihulls can only be matched by his 20 years of practical experience sailing them across the oceans. He has sailed all types of catamarans from 20-120' in the most diverse waters from the Danube river to the alpine lakes of Nepal. 07/09 The new Lipari 41 catamaran by Fountaine Pajot is introduced. The Lipari 41 catamaran has nearly the same space on deck as the larger Orana 44 yet is packaged in a 41' hull length for ease of sailing and for a very competitive price. Innovations include a rigid composite bimini that is stylishly integrated into the coach roof, a semi-flybridge (which keeps the Center of Gravity low - yet provides you with unrivaled views from the helm), a flush cockpit saloon sole with no steps and a sumptuous full length owner's suite (Maestro Version)

  10/08  WLIS AM-1150 Radio (the Maritime Scene Show): Gregor Tarjan is interviewed at the Newport Boat Show talking about his new Aeroyacht 110' super-catamaran project. Listen to the 15 minute audio clip. The interview was held by Capt. Bill Pinkney, who is the first black man to sail around the world solo. Bill is also the former skipper of the "Amistad".

07/07. Fountaine-Pajot - the world's largest and oldest builder of catamarans is going public and is traded on the New York Stock exchange. Expansion of the factory in Aigrefeuille, competitive marketing and new power and sail cat models are being conceived which will be introduced in 2008/2009.

07/05. US Customs approved location – Aeroyacht's waterfront location is the only marina in the NY/NJ area, which is officially accepted by the US Customs and Department of Homeland Security as a recognized import facility for foreign flagged yachts.

06/05. Aeroyacht's new ASA-Certified Multihull Schooling – Aeroyacht can assist individuals looking to train and receive a cruising multihull certification.   02/05 Seafury Surface Drives, makers of the toughest high speed propulsion systems have announced co-sponsorship for Aeroyacht's NY-Bermuda World Record attempt with the Blubay TC 45 in September.

  01/05 Aeroyacht launches NY-Bermuda World Record attempt.  It has now been officially confirmed, that Gregor Tarjan, Aeroyacht's president, will attempt to break the existing powerboat record of 23 hours with "Aeroyacht Challenger" a revolutionary Blubay 45 foil assisted catamaran. The record attempt is scheduled for September 2005.
