Race with Aeroyacht around NY

Aeroyacht's high tech 50' open racer will be the boat to beat. NEPTUNE'S CAR has won the ALIR twice and is the holder of one of the fastest rounding times. Stay tuned for a hard race between the her and WILLOW. The Outremer 55S, WILLOW already proved herself by racing across the Atlantic in last years ARC, finishing in second place, behind GIROLATA, an Outremer 45. Today WILLOW is gearing up to compete in next Saturday's (July 27-30) ALIR (Around Long Island Regatta). Sit back and follow the race from your screen.

This years Around Long Island Regatta is a NEMA (New England Multihull Association) Offshore classified event and will be broadcast to the world in full splendor at WWW.ALIR.ORG. For the first time, the ALIR website will feature a Global Position Satellite (GPS) tracking window which will allow visitors to monitor the positions of major competing boats. In addition, the race comittee will provide instantaneous posting of the Rounding Times, Statistics, and Marine Weather Conditions. Live coverage of the anticipated thirty-six hour race will include "On-Board" Camera footage and continuous audio commentary directly from the boats. In addition to frequent communication and correspondence with the hard-edged crew members, seasoned sailing veterans will offer their expert analysis from remote location sites around the Island.

Aeroyacht's team entry will consist of 3 multihulls: Flagship, NEPTUNES's CAR a Tektron 50, WILLOW an Outremer 55S and DURBAN DANCER an Admiral 38 catamaran.

She has been professionally maintained by a permanent crew of 3 and in Bristol condition ready for new adventures.
