Last week the long awaited Mahe 36 was launched into the waters off the West Coast of France. Representatives, technicians, as well as members of the world yachting press assembled in La Rochelle to witness the boat's first test sail.

The Mahe 36 performed better than expected and she easily sailed at maximum potential, even with a full compliment of marine journalists and photographers on board.
