Blubay TC 45 Express Launched
|
|
It was with great anticipation that Blubay’s long awaited 45’
powercat was launched into the waters off Cape Town last week.
Presently the yacht is undergoing exacting sea trials and
system tests, after which the cat will be shipped via special
yacht transport to its final destination, close to Aeroyacht’s
docks in Long Island, New York.
Interested clients should contact Aeroyacht to schedule
demonstrations and pre-book production slots. One is left for
Summer 07.

Earthrace - Awesome Warrior

Earthrace
New York City

Imagine a marine vessel that pierces through waves instead of
riding over them, allowing it to cruise more efficiently at
higher speeds in rough seas.
Now imagine a man who has invested everything he has to build
a boat and a team with the goal of racing to set a new world
record for equatorial navigation of the earth, fueled
exclusively by vegetable-based biodiesel. You're imagining New
Zealander Pete Bethune and his boat Earthrace, "racing around
the world for a better planet". Soon to be seen in New York
City.

Aeroyacht at the RHUM
|
|
Gregor Tarjan traveled all the way to the start of the famous
Route du Rhum to help Fountaine Pajot’s director, Eric
Bruneel, off to a good start. The “good luck” apple he gave
Eric on Saturday was eaten on the spot and must have done its
job, as “Trilogic” is now in second place, chasing Franck Yves
Escoffier on “Crepes Whaoo!”
The
Route du Rhum is held every 4 years and starts in St.
Malo, France and finishes in Guadalupe in the Caribbean. It is
one the longest and most renown solo transatlantic races in
the world. It makes us wonder that out of 76 boats, who made
it to the start this year, not a single US sailor entered. Is
this maybe a sign that it is time for Aeroyacht to find a US
sponsor to enter the 2008 edition ? Interested parties are
encouraged to apply.
