    A surprisingly affordable cruiser

It is now official: Aeroyacht and TomCat catamarans have joined forces. The Canadian builder of the 32’ performance cruiser -TomCat 9.7 has elected Aeroyacht Ltd. to help market its line of catamarans in the US.

TomCat’s general manager, Tom Strain mentioned:
"...Aeroyacht’s reputation and market presence in the industry is well known and Gregor (Tarjan, the company founder’s) know-how make him a trusted resource for customers new to multihulls...”

It’s a symbiotic relationship, which will work for both companies. TomCat is now represented by a recognized international dealership and Aeroyacht can now offer smaller catamarans, which they lacked in their portfolio.

  • Hydroptere takes off
  • Hydroptere Simply Amazing

On Nov 17th shortly after her re- launch, “Hydroptere”, the radical french foiler tri, reached an astonishing 43 knots. In fact she was so fast that she almost beat her existing record of 44 knots. The French-Swiss crew was sailing in 20-22 knots of wind –nearly ideal conditions and had one reef in the main and the Solent set.

Alain Thebault, skipper of “Hydroptere” said: "43 knots on our second outing ! A great confirmation for our team and an accomplishment to celebrate. I think that the potential of our carbon beast is somewhere between 45-50 knots”
