Whats new:
Again our French friends at Fountaine Pajot have made useful
innovations on the popular Highland 35 by adding a fully
functioning inside nav station. Their countrymen could make
history when "Babouche" will be the first boat ( a cat - what
else) to attempt to sail through the notorious North West Passage.
Aeroyacht wants to thank all owners and Fountaine Pajot for the
30th anniversary party in Martinique.

The Highland 35's inside helm station
Check out the revised interior and practical inside helm station
of the
Highland 35 power cat.
For boaters who will use their power cat throughout the year or in
harsher climates the full-function inside nav station offers all
navigation, communication and steering controls. The Highland 35
is the smallest and most efficient of Fountaine Pajot's full line
of production power cats.

Northwest Passage by catamaran
|

Hundred years ago Amundsen crossed the North- American archipelago
from East to West and thereby became the first person to undertake
this daunting passage. Today Frenchman Sébastien Roubine will try
to become the first person to carry out this tough journey with
his unique 24' catamaran named "Babouche" ( translated "Turkish
Slipper") - a boat that will have to withstand the rigors of
arctic
The amazing aspect of the boat becomes clear when examining the
fine, upwards curving, Polynesian inspired hulls. "Babouche" will
be able to "sail" on solid ice if necessary! - hopefully with
little bridgedeck pounding. This fantastic sporting challenge,
sponsored by no other than French Formula 1 sailor Yvan Bourgnon,
was never accomplished by a boat without engine.

from all over the world to join us in celebrating the
manufacturer's 30th anniversary in Martinique last November.
The first Fountaine Pajot owner's rally was a great success.
Hundreds of sailors, including an international media contingent
gathered in the Caribbean to celebrate Fountaine Pajot's birthday.
We thank all our friends who were present - from France, Portugal,
Turkey, Switzerland, Belgium, United States, England, Italy for
their enthusiasm, their inventiveness and their dedication.
Fountaine Pajot remains the oldest and largest production builder
of the world's best looking and most cruised catamarans.
