Outremer 50/55 Standard catamaran

Aeroyacht -Outremer 50/55S catamaran

Description

Seaworthiness, security and performance are the most important design qualities of all Outremer catamarans.

The 50/55 S catamaran embodies all of these virtues in combination with abundant space and payload for long distance voyaging in the greatest of comfort. For close to 2 decades the yard has engineered Outremer catamarans as swift, good looking vessels that have been proven through out 100’s of ocean passages and over 35 circumnavigations, with not one single structural failure or major mishap. This fact seems close to a record in the production multihull community.

As all Outremer catamarans the 50/55 Standard is built to strict EC “OCEAN” category “A” standards and is unsinkable.

Her legendary speed, even in light air lets one actively avoid bad weather. Passage times are reduced thus minimizing exposure at sea. Low resistance hulls enhance on board comfort and contribute to a safe low pitch environment.

True to the Outremer catamaran spirit, the interior can be laid out to the owners requirement. As her smaller sisters, the hulls of the Outremer 50/55 Standard are built in a monolithic-vacuum bagging process, thus eliminating any concerns of damage by beaching or delamination of a sandwich hull.  This construction philosophy also allows for easy repairs in even the most remote places.

The 50/55 S, as all Outremer catamarans is guaranteed by the factory for 10 years against structural failure and she is also backed by a 3 year osmosis warranty.
