Gregor Tarjan, founder of Aeroyacht only deals with reputable ocean going multihulls and his in house brokerage sells new and used catamarans. Aeroyacht Ltd. are also dealers for the BluBay luxury cruising multihulls. The company offers excellent customer service, warranty work along the entire US East Coast, provided by Derecktor shipyards in NY and Ft. Lauderdale as well as training, financing, ocean deliveries, and charter management. Gregor Tarjan 25 year professional background include his active involvement in the 1986 "Stars and Stripes" America's Cup campaign, a USCG-50 Ton Masters License, a degree in Yacht Design and Art History, which all contribute in providing exceptional service to clients. He is a US Merchant Marine officer, has owned numerous large catamarans and has participated in the Olympic Star Class, N.A. Championships. Gregor is fluent in German and French and his passion and theoretical knowledge of cruising multihulls can only be matched by his 20 years of practical experience sailing them across the oceans. He has sailed all types of catamarans from 20-120' in the most diverse waters from the Danube river to the alpine lakes of Nepal. He is co-author of the SAILORS MULTIHULL GUIDE, writer of numerous articles for MULTIHULLS, SAIL and CRUISING magazines and his new book: "Catamarans Offshore" is to be published soon.

Hull configuration: vacuum bagged, hand laid-up foam core decks, bulkheads, stringers built in OCS® (Overlap Composite Construction System) Monolithic vacuum bagged high aspect ratio hulls, incorporating longitudinal omegas, full buoyancy bow-sections and reverse transom with molded boarding steps. Standard layout: Main saloon: Galley up along entire aft side of saloon. To port a very spacious forward looking nav station with full size chart table, large L- or U- shaped seating area with table to starboard. Port hull: Comfortable aft stateroom with lockers and shelves, mid-ships is a double berth with a head/shower forward. Starboard hull: Aft stateroom with seat and hanging locker. Very large head aft with separate walk in shower midships. Forward: Stateroom with hanging locker and shelves.

Helm locations:
Aft, against outboard side of rear coach-roof wall, providing excellent forward visibility to both bows and protection from spray.

Deck Layout:
Large cockpit with table and lounge area. Aerodynamic cabin top. Wide, flat antiskid decks, with low profile skylights and hatches. Trampoline forward with centrally located rigid walkway incorporating anchor locker. Abundant storage in forward hull compartments and in cockpit.

Aux. Engine type and location:
Twin 30HP Yanmar diesels with saildrives, fresh water cooled. The 55’ Light has an extra watertight compartment for the steering system and can also be ordered with regular shaft drives.
