Making your way through the East River and admiring New York’s skyline is a highlight that few sailors ever experience. Anchor at the Statue of Lberty or dock at one of the city marinas and enjoy a night out in town and then retreat to your own waterfront luxury condo.
Or explore the bustling harbor of Port Jefferson, NY (our catamaran’s home base) and sail Long Island Sound. You will be sharing the water with Sir Francis Drake and Captain Blackbeard who all sailed these historic waters. Let the tide carry you to points East where sandy beaches of Block Island and Nantucket await you. On the way back to our charter base in Port Jefferson stop in the sailing capital of the world, Newport RI and tour one of the spectacular mansions.
There is no better way to explore the varied coast of New England than from the water aboard FLO, our 46′ Nautitech catamaran. She is brand new and fully fitted out for luxury cruising. – Day 3: Block Island (ca. 20 miles/3 hrs sail)
– Day 4: Newport (ca. 9 miles/2 hrs sail)
– Day 5: Mystic (ca. 40 miles/6 hrs sail)
– Day 6: Thimble Islands (ca. 20 miles/3 hrs sail)
– Day 7: Return to Port Jefferson, NY
