Available in a stately Flybridge version or the classic “Open” with twin aft helm stations. Similar to her smaller sister the new Bavaria Nautitech 46 is a sailor’s catamaran. Designed from the ground up by a team of ocean racers, naval architects and multihull specialists the Nautitech 46 possesses the same DNA as all Bavaria catamarans. Strong, light, exquisitely finished inside and out, a luxurious interior and a high performance under sail.

The Latest in Luxury on Two Hulls
Whether sailing the Flybridge or Open – the unique concept of combining both the covered cockpit with the enclosed salon creates a combined space only found in yachts much larger. This is just one of the reasons the Bavaria Nautitech 46 is a top choice for ocean cruisers, live boards but also performance charter companies, who want to offer customers something a bit more special. In a market of bulky catamarans, the 46 series of catamarans stands out as a streamlined and purposeful looking catamaran that puts sailing pleasures back into your cruising.
Quality above the Rest
The Bavaria Nautitech 46 Fly and Open catamarans have been designed for people who love traveling on the sea. It doesn’t matter whether this is only for a few days or for an extended journey. The joy of lying at anchor in secluded coves, or sailing at speed from port to port – with the Bavaria Nautitech 46 catamaran you can experience all this without sacrificing comfort or luxury.
The Bavaria Nautitech 46 is manufactured in Rochefort on the Atlantic Ocean. She is the embodiment of over thirty years of experience in the construction of cruising catamarans by the French builder and just as much expertise in interior design and working with wood by the parent company, Bavaria Yachts from Germany.
The Bavaria Nautitech 46 is available in a streamlined and lighter “OPEN” version with twin wheels aft, as well as the “FLY” version which sports a low profile flybridge with a central helm.
Design is in the Details
The Bavaria Nautitech 46 catamaran was drafted by Marc Lombard, one of the most successful yacht designers in France. Yachts designed by Marc Lombard guarantee perfect sailing performance and seagoing hulls. The elegant and functional design below deck comes from the pen of Stéphane Roséo and his team at Studio Roséo Design.
Double Helms inspired by Racing Yachts
Experienced cruisers know the fact: 90% of the time you are sailing you will be cruising utilizing your autopilot, while you lounge or keep watch in the cockpit or protected pilothouse. The few times you want to “sail” and take control of the helm – you want to have the best feedback possible. Controlling a catamaran with your fingertips alone, feeling every gust of wind and the acceleration of your yacht– that is the joy of catamaran sailing! Aboard the Bavaria Nautitech 46 Open you can experience all of this from both the port and the starboard helm stands on the hulls. Always having the course, the horizon and the sail in view without losing visual contact with the crew is one of the many great advantages of the Bavaria Nautitech 46 Open. Add to this advantage the redundancy of twin helms, easy docking from each side, unobstructed views to the rear all add to the sensible designed double steering stations.
