Unlike other multihulls of her price range and length, the TomCat 9.7 offers a 16′ beam and proper bridgedeck clearance to handle open ocean sailing. The all-weather protection of the ingenious convertible saloon-bridgedeck provides 360 degree views and by retracting everything (centerboard, rudders and engines) she can sail in only 16″ of water. Due to the TomCat’s weight-conscious hybrid-composite construction, centered weights and deep centerboard she also sails exceptionally well.
