Yesterday the French builder Neel Trimarans made big news as their new flagship Neel 65 moved into their state of the art facility in La Rochelle, France. The Neel 65 trimaran is today’s largest production tri and will rival the luxury, space and stability of some much larger superyachts yet have the performance of a race boat. Eric Bruneel, her designer and builder estimates that 300 mile days are possible. The new Neel 65 trimaran is scheduled to be completed this year and will certainly make us want to visit and sail her.

The Neel 65’s smaller sister is the highly successful Neel 45 trimaran of which already 12 units have been built.
