Normally we dont publish concepts or images of catamarans that have not yet been built – but there are always exceptions. We like what a young multihull designer has done with the Vizible 105. She is a 34′ cruising catamaran, which can be built in modules.
Studying the plans, we like the lightweight, simple approach, the flexibility of spatial usage and the overall design – yet are skeptical of the placement of the centerboard on the bridgedeck. Structurally and hydrodynamically not an ideal choice. Instead, we would place a single daggerboard in one of the hulls, which is nearly as efficient as two boards.
There are very few, if any cats in this size range. The Vizible is an interesting concept that we would love to see realized.
